Every year, thousands of former lease vehicles are returned to banks, broker sources, and dealerships for disposal. Realizing that many of these vehicles are still in prime condition, McMahon Automotive Group is carefully selecting vehicles from auction and wholesale sources, as well as those that have been returned to us, to sell or re-lease at a considerable discount through our used car division.

Among the criteria for selection are low mileage, no significant body damage and qualification for extended warranties. Additionally, each vehicle undergoes an extensive bumper to bumper safety check to ensure it meets McMahon's demanding standards and we include a 90-day, no-charge warranty.

Not all "used cars" are the same. Here's some terminology to help you understand the differences:

Used Cars - simply put, these are cars that have been used by unknown drivers. As a result, it's impossible to know how well it's been serviced, or if it's been in any accidents. A "used car" should only be purchased from a reputable dealer to ensure its continuing reliability and safety.

Demo or Executive Cars - these vehicles have been driven by a member of a dealer's sales staff (and possibly family members) or by a factory executive. They may also have been used for customer test drives.

Program Cars - these are cars that a manufacturer has previously sold as part of a fleet to a major user. After they've been used for a certain period of time or mileage, they are returned to the manufacturer, who then sells them through a dealer or general auction.

Off-Lease Cars - These cars are offered for sale after they have returned off lease. Because of the varying types of leases the cars may be only two years old or may have very low mileage. If the car was previously leased through McMahon Automotive Group, often the vehicle history will be available.
